ACTION REQUEST
Receive comments from the Public regarding update of the land use assumptions, capital improvements plan and impact fees for water and sewer utilities.
BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)
The last Capital Recovery Plan Update was approved by City Commission in 2017. The Texas Local Government Code, Title 12, Planning and Development, Subtitle C, Chapter 395 requires the review and update of the Plan at least every 5 years. The update provides a general overview of the entire Capital Recovery Plan with specific detailed information about the Land Use Assumptions (anticipated growth), and the Capital Improvements Plan (facilities needed to serve growth) including existing facilities with reserve or excess capacity to serve new growth. .
RECOMMENDATION
The Citizen Advisory Committee recommends to the City Commission, adoption of the Land Use Assumptions, Capital Improvements Plan, and water and wastewater Impact Fees as presented.
